Sunny is a lawyer and senior partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP where he founded (in 2002) and still leads the Blakes Technology group nationally; he has over 25 years of experience working with both emerging and world-leading tech companies in Canada and internationally. Prior to joining Blakes, he founded several software and internet start-ups. Today, he represents technology businesses from start-ups to some of the largest tech companies in the world. Sunny is also a professor (adj.) at McGill University, where he currently teaches Communications Law and previously taught in the areas of IT law, complex corporate and commercial transactions and intellectual property law. He has also authored and co-authored 18 books in the areas of law and business.
